CAPIC is a private, non-profit corporation and is the designated Community Action Agency for Chelsea, Revere, and Winthrop. Over 11,000 local area residents receive direct resources and services, annually.

For over fifty-three years, CAPIC has been committed to serving low-income individuals and families, and working to improve the quality of life for all those affected by poverty. In turn, CAPIC strives to provide crucial services and resources to those in need each and every day. CAPIC has determined that the delivery of such essential services to a vulnerable and often underserved population helps to remove barriers to self-sufficiency within the community.

CAPIC welcomes private donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Your donation will be directed where it is needed most within the Agency, so that we can maintain direct programming and services for clients. CAPIC is an IRS certified 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, and carries tax-exempt status, so all donations are tax deductible.
