CAPIC”s AMP program provides free electrical assessments to tenants and homeowners living in one to four unit buildings.  If it is determined through the assessment that a refrigerator(s), window air conditioner(s), clothes washing machine, dehumidifier(s), or stand alone freezer is working inefficiently, the program can replace them with new energy efficient appliances FREE OF CHARGE.  Inaddition, based on the data collected, installation of instant saving materials, including energy efficient light bulbs, are available.  To qualify for the AMP program, the household MUST be on Fuel Assistance or be receiving a discount on the electric bill.
